The company puts a lot of effort and money into state-of-the art systems. It also takes advantage of its internal resources to develop innovative applications geared specifically to its management activities and sphere of operations.

In the mid-1990s, our computer experts developed TrackingCargo for the Internet using an Oracle database. This application is at the centre of our systems and constantly evolving. It enables users to store and catalogue all information related to the following activity modules:

• Communications and discussions with clients (proposals, contracts, etc.);
• Ship data management (centralization of stevedoring information);
• Cargo control (tracking of in-transit inventory);
• Equipment and machinery maintenance;
• Acquisition control.

These modules cover all activities of the company’s various sectors and provide users and managers with a valuable decision-making tool and unique way to share information. In addition, TrackingCargo enables our clients to consult their inventory by logging on to the system with a password and secure connection.

Virtual Terminal

In 2005, our computer experts developed a new tool called Virtual Terminal – software that makes it possible to plan the storage of bulk and general cargo on wharves. This innovative tool and its unique graphic interface enables users to see the actual condition and location of cargo, ships, stationary robotized equipment and mobile equipment. This application also enables users to make multiple projections and share them via the Internet.
