The Port of Gros-Cacouna, with its enclosed basin and wharves, is located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. It features handling services along with vast inside and outside storage spaces.

It specializes in transhipping enormous wind turbine components, forest products, lumber, general cargo and dry bulk.

 

It is recognized as one of the top performing ports when it comes to transhipping lumber in Quebec.

Located at a crossroads, the port is linked to major highways in Eastern Canada and the northeast United States. A Canadian National train track is 6 km away from the port.
