Montréal joins the movement for the elimination of single-use plastic
October 27, 2021
The Empire teams, starting with the Bikerdike Terminal at the Port of Montréal, are joining the movement to eliminate single-use plastic.
This transition initiated by QSL in 2019 aims to eliminate single-use plastic bottles by replacing them with reusable bottles and water fountains.
So far, over 200,000 plastic bottles have been saved. In the long term, this initiative will save 500,000 bottles per year in our network!
From terminal to terminal, day by day, all together through our actions, we are transforming our future and the environment. We are grateful for these efforts and applaud the determination of our teams.
