Located in the heart of the Sorel-Tracy IP Zone, St. Lawrence sector, this terminal strategically located a few kilometers from Montréal offers access to all modes of transportation as well as significant indoor and outdoor storage areas.
The first phase, which was completed in the fall of 2021, represents an investment of $10 million for the construction of a 104,453 ft2 (9,704 m2) warehouse that can accommodate up to 50,000 metric tons of fertilizer for nearby farmers, as well as 275,556 ft2 (25,600 m2) of outdoor storage space.
Now in the second phase of the project, this terminal is in the pre-engineering stage, which consists of developing an innovative floating dock structure with a water depth reaching 36’ 1’’ ft (11 m) enabling the docking of all ships navigating the St. Lawrence River at this height.
