Located between the QSL Iroquois Landing and the Lake Calumet Terminals on the Calumet River, the QSL 106th Street Warehouse terminal has 910 ft (280 m) of ship and barge berthing space with a water depth of 27 ft (8.3 m), including all the equipment necessary to handle various cargos from barge to marine vessel as well as rail and truck.
The 112,000 ft2 (10,405 m2) warehouse includes four 25 MT overhead cranes and 6 loading doors, surrounded by 5 acres (20,234 m2) of outdoor storage that will be linked to the Norfolk Southern rail currently under development, to be serviced by the Chicago South Shore CSS for all Class 1 railroads.
