To maintain the grain handling and activities of grains and wood pellets at the Port of Quebec, in the Anse au Foulon sector, QSL announces the acquisition of two silos that are part of a high-quality, efficient, and highly automated infrastructure that belonged to the Société en commandite Terminalgrains.Ag, operated by Sollio Agriculture.

Already handling grain operations on behalf of Société en commandite Terminalgrains.Ag, this transaction continues business for QSL, which has been established in the Foulon sector since 1978. The two silos have an indoor storage capacity of 75,000 tons. This acquisition also allowed QSL to partner with Parrish & Heimbecker (“P&H”), a Canadian family-owned agribusiness established for 115 years, whose activities extend across Canada and include grain marketing.

“We are pleased to acquire modern infrastructure that allows us to continue handling the grain that transits through the Port of Quebec. We also welcome Parrish & Heimbecker to the Foulon sector and look forward to starting this new collaboration with this leader in the agribusiness industry.”

– Robert Bellisle, President and CEO of QSL

In its constant quest for innovation and to offer customized logistics solutions, QSL is convinced that the acquisition of this strategic infrastructure will enable companies to continue exporting grains and developing new international markets, in addition to further enhancing the resilience of the logistics chain.
