At the Port of Sheet Harbour, our teams had the pleasure of welcoming Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston, along with several members of his ministerial team.

This visit provided an opportunity to discuss the port’s strategic development projects, particularly its key role in the expansion of the province’s wind energy sector.

Located in the eastern part of the Halifax Regional Municipality, the Port of Sheet Harbour is one of the closest ports to Europe. It is notably a major player in handling general cargo as well as project cargo.

QSL operates and administers the port through its subsidiary POSHA. This unique position strengthens our involvement in managing and developing the site, while supporting projects related to the energy transition.

We are grateful for the attention the Nova Scotia Government is giving to this essential infrastructure.
