An outstanding achievement recognized across North America

We are proud to announce that Transport Watson, a subsidiary of QSL specializing in heavy and oversized transport, has received the 2025 Hauling Job of the Year award from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) in the “Under 160,000 lb” category.

This prestigious honor recognizes excellence in operations, technical ingenuity, and the highest standards of safety within the specialized transportation industry.

The award-winning project involved the complex transport of 51 oversized piping rack modules, including 40 colossal structures, with overall dimensions reaching up to 45 meters long (148 ft) and over 4 meters high and wide (13 ft).

The 22-kilometer journey between Contrecœur and Varennes, Québec, was carried out exclusively at night over a span of seven weeks, through narrow rural roads not designed to accommodate such massive cargo, and in the midst of harsh winter conditions.

Key highlights of the operation:
