Baie-Comeau, October 9, 2026 – QSL and the Port of Baie-Comeau today highlighted the progress of construction work on the new multi-purpose warehouse at Terminal No. 5. Work began on September 16 and represents the first phase of the terminal redevelopment project.
Owned by the Port, the new warehouse will be operated by QSL, which is also contributing its port and logistics expertise to support project management and coordination. This new facility will increase the terminal’s storage capacity, expand cargo-handling capabilities and provide greater flexibility for businesses using the Port of Baie-Comeau’s facilities.

Construction work will continue over the coming months. Commissioning of the new warehouse, scheduled for spring 2027, will mark the completion of the first phase of the Terminal No. 5 redevelopment project.
