The Maritime Cup was back on Saturday February 4th for a second edition.

Organized this year by the Mid St. Lawrence Pilots Corporation (CPSLC), this friendly hockey tournament brought together 5 major players in the maritime industry.

Employees of Mid St. Lawrence Pilots Corporation, OCEAN Group, CSL (Canada Steamship Lines), FedNav and QSL competed on the ice of the Colisée Vidéotron in Trois-Rivières.

A total of $25,000 in donations

5 charities were chosen by the participating teams to share a total of $25,000 in donations. The donations were divided according to the results of the tournament, with the champion team having the privilege of donating the largest amount to the cause of their choice.

QSL donates $10,000 to United Way–Mauricie

Grand champion of the tournament, QSL had the chance to donate $10,000 to United Way–Mauricie. In second place, OCEAN Group donated $6,000 to the Fondation CHU de Québec. The Mariners’ House of Montreal also received $6,000. The Seamen’s Club of Trois-Rivières and Jeunes Marins Urbains each received $1,500.
